The BBC has lauched a new and improved iplayer website.  This new site lists all the channels for the TV and well as radio and has a much improved interface.

Last week I wrote about the BBC doing a deal with Nintendo to get the iPlayer on the Wii.

I also speculated about the reasons why Nintendo was the first of the current generation of consoles to get the iPlayer, rather than the 360 or PS3.

The BBC iPlayer is coming to a television near you following a deal by the Beeb and Virgin Media.

As of today, all 3.5 million Virgin Media customers will be able to catch up on BBC programmes they've missed by pressing the red button on any BBC channel.
